Apps are usually run on a domain (myapp.com for example) and sometimes are run on subdomains (customera.myapp.com and customerb.mayapp.com for example). There are cases where you need to run multiple apps on the same domain for subdomain. This is accomplished by mounting those apps on paths other than "/".
