When an Apex Designer project is pushed to source control, an export file is included along with the generated files. That export file can be imported back into Apex Designer to restore a copy of that specific version.

An Apex Designer project can also be manually exported and imported back into Apex Designer to make a copy of a project.

Step by Step

  1. Select the Import fab icon from the lower right corner on the projects page: Import project button
  2. Select the export file that you want to import
  3. Adjust the name and version in the Import Project dialog if needed
    Import Project dialog
  4. Click the Import button to import the project
